It started with a better way to publish
BoomPress got its start in Pittsburgh. Co-founders Adam Bertram and Steve Baleno set out to build a publishing platform that was faster, easier for writers, better for search and safer than a site held together by plugins.
From the start, we built it alongside working sportswriters, and what they needed on deadlines and game nights shaped the sports features.
The result is BoomPress: one platform for publishing, community, memberships, sports data, apps and advertising, built, hosted and supported by one team.
Today dozens of publisher sites run on BoomPress, from single-team outlets to multi-sport networks.
